Here I am going to explain about Sales funnel; the funnel begins when you create marketing materials to generate interest in your products and ends when qualified prospects assigned to Sales Reps.
Below are few sales funnel stage definition
Demand Generation: The act of creating interest in your products or services through marketing efforts.
Conversion: Once a visitor gives you contact information by submitting a landing page or from in pardot, they converted to a prospect.
Prospect: Prospect is an anonymous visitor that has converted and now identified. We can also call it as lead.
Lead nurturing: Sending targeted messages at specific intervals based on a prospects action and whether or not they have met specific qualifying criteria.
Lead Qualification: You probably have thousands of people interacting with your organization. Your Sales team can’t contact each of them, so it is marketers responsibility to send them the best prospects. The process of finding the best leads is called a lead qualification.
Pardot uses prospect score and prospect grade metrics for lead qualification.
What is the Prospect Score? It is a numerical value indicating how interested they are in your product or service, based on specific actions the prospect takes.
What is the Prospect grade? Represented by a letter (A, B, C, D, etc.) indicating how well a prospect fits the profile of your ideal candidate.
